- Applying to Texas A&M University (College Station) - Do not forget to submit your Self Reported Academic Record. If you are not in the Top 10 % of your class, you will not need to request a transcript be sent for Pflugerville High School to Texas A&M University. More information can be found at the link below

- The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has built a great resource for families to find out information on how COVID 19 may be affecting many of our 4000+ institutions across the country.

-College Board (SAT) and ACT have announced new opportunities to take the SAT or ACT exam this year. Please visit the websites below for more information and to sign up.

-Colleges across the country are starting to become "Test Optional". We encourage you to check each institution's website to see if your institution does give you the option to submit SAT and/or ACT scores or not. Keep in mind many institutions are "Test Optional" for Admission purposes, but not for Scholarships, Honors Programs, or certain majors.
​
-You may be receiving emails/physical mailings from individuals and/or companies encouraging you to attend an informational event or join their organization. We encourage you to be very cautious before attending these events or joining these organizations. If you have any questions on whether a program is legitimate, please email Mr. Howell.

​
PFISD College Application Boot Camp (August 3rd) - Pflugerville ISD will host our annual College Application Boot Camp at Hendrickson High School. During the event seniors (Class of 2022) will be able to receive assistance with their College Essays & Resumes, start their college applications, and receive general advice from our expert college admission representatives. Keep in mind these individuals are often making an admission decision for you..
PFISD Military Fair (August 4th) - Pflugerville ISD will host our annual Military Fair at Hendrickson High School on August 4th, 2021. During the event seniors will be able to meet with military representatives from multiple branches in one location. This a great way to see which branch is right for you and get the enlistment process started.
PHS College Application Presentation (August 19th) - Pflugerville High School will host a College Application Presentation in order to help students learn more about the College Application Process, Scholarships, and How to Request Documents. We encourage all families in 9-12th grade to attend the event. The Event will be In-Person.
